Bobbie Goering manages Library Services for Exelon Corporation.  She joined Commonwealth Edison (a predecessor company to Exelon) in 1980 as an "information professional in a non-library setting" and worked on groundbreaking programs such as scanning documents for full-text capture when scanners were bigger than Chicago Bears linemen and required rooms of their own.  Bobbie held assignments in Information Technology, Customer Service, Meter Reading, Nuclear Construction, Nuclear Operations and as a speechwriter before becoming Manager, Library Services in 1994.  She has led the transition from an overhead-funded warehouse of physical documents to a self-sustaining & primarily virtual library. 

Bobbie holds a B.A. from Northwest Missouri and an M.L.S from Syracuse University.
